Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Silver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Orpheu De Perereca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Anderson Silver!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Orpheu De Perereca!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Mauricio Rocha and Seu Braga.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

De Perereca gets tackled into the cage by Silver. Silver maintains the clinch.
De Perereca jumps guard but Silver stands there with De Perereca around his waist. De Perereca gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
De Perereca has had enough of the clinch but Silver keeps him there for the moment.

Silver breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
De Perereca fails with an attempt to clinch.
Orpheu De Perereca seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
De Perereca looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Silver is fending him off so far but De Perereca persists. Nope, Silver circles away and we're back to standing.
De Perereca shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Silver sprawls well. Silver wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. De Perereca gets slowly back to his feet.
Anderson Silver has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Orpheu De Perereca.

De Perereca instigates a clinch.
Silver misses with the head strike.

Silver manages to break the clinch.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
De Perereca tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Silver manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Silver closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
De Perereca has hold of Silver's hands but Silver slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Silver is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
De Perereca really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silver. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Silver postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. De Perereca looks a forlorn figure.
You get the feeling that De Perereca really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Silver looking to control and managing it successfully.

Silver wants to control the pace but De Perereca is squirming around nicely.
De Perereca wants to get back to his feet.
Silver has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
De Perereca looks gassed!

Silver working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. De Perereca turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Silver off and cradles De Perereca's limp body as Silver celebrates with his corner.
