The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andrews blocks a head kick by Johns.
Johns tries to clinch up.
Johns throws a nice looking combination but Andrews bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Andrews scores with a body shot.

Andrews manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Johns on his heels. He'll look to pass Johns's guard now, I'm sure.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Johns has his foot on Andrews's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Andrews works his way back into a safe position though.
Andrews passes Johns's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Johns is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Andrews's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Andrews's back!

Andrews manages to reverse the position and now he's in Johns's guard. Nice work there by Andrews.

Andrews is working to tighten is grip on Johns's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Johns has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Andrews is really squeezing tight and eventually Johns passes out! Andrews breaks the hold and jumps onto the ropes to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
