The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adamek misses with a double jab.
Adamek misses with the combination.
Hornsey connects with a body shot that sends Adamek's belly button to the back.
Adamek is breathing heavily.
Hornsey scores with a nice head shot.
Hornsey slips a jab and a cross from Adamek.
Adamek takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Adamek has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Adamek there as he acknowledges the shot.
Hornsey ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Hornsey cracks a nice hook into Adamek's ribs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hornsey's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Hornsey duly obliges.
Hornsey tests Adamek's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Hornsey lands a nice hook to Adamek's body. Adamek takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Adamek gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Hornsey.
Adamek takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Adamek takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Hornsey throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Adamek on the side of the head.
Hornsey is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Adamek had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Hornsey bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Hornsey feints a jab promting Adamek to slip. Hornsey then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Adamek slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Adamek is rocked!
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Adamek has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hornsey finds it's way round the side to connect with Adamek's head.
Oh Adamek is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hornsey throws an overhand right that drops Adamek like a sack of potatoes! Hornsey dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

Scott Hornsey decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
