Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marco Rudirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rudirez comes to the cage accompanied by Turbonegro "Prince of the rodeo". Power has chosen Fabolous, 50cent, Mase - Breathe Remix as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Marco Rudirez has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Power takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Rudirez throws a sloppy body shot
and Power counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Power moves out of range of the strikes.
Power throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rudirez listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Rudirez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Power tries to avoid it but Rudirez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Power to the ground. Power escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Power walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Rudirez checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Power fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rudirez manages to avoid it.
Power throws a head kick that misses.

Rudirez closes the distance and pushes Power back into the cage.

Power breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Max Power seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rudirez throws out a loose jab but Power uses good head movement to avoid it.

Rudirez takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Rudirez. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Rudirez moves forwards but Power connects with a nice, crisp jab.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Power buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

enabling Rudirez to counter with a crisp jab.
Rudirez looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Rudirez takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Rudirez takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Rudirez throws a hook but Power blocks it.
Oh Rudirez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Rudirez is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Rudirez lands a nice leg kick that just misses Power's sensitive parts.
Power lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Rudirez up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Power from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Rudirez's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

A relieved looking Max Power thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
