The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mitchell fails with a takedown attempt.
O Haire thuds a left hand into Mitchell's body.
A jab from O Haire misses.
O Haire stuffs the takedown.
Mitchell slips a straight right by O Haire.
O Haire scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mitchell bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
O Haire keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Chris O Haire has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Mitchell.
Mitchell looks gassed!
O Haire stuffs the takedown.
Mitchell fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Mitchell steps to the side to avoid the strikes from O Haire.
Mitchell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. O Haire tries to avoid it but Mitchell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag O Haire to the ground. O Haire escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
O Haire throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Mitchell tumbling to the canvas!

It looks like Jason Mitchell has been cut.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

O Haire gets to his feet - Mitchell follows without any prompting.
Mitchell is trying desperately to land a takedown but O Haire is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Mitchell.
Mitchell takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

O Haire wants to get back to his feet but Mitchell is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Mitchell passes to full mount!

O Haire knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mitchell on the ground.

Mitchell is cranking O Haire's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for O Haire! He's tightened the choke and O Haire is tapping out!
