The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good leg kick by Parts there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Parts throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Emelianenko.

It looks like Fedor Emelianenko has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Parts tries to score with a low kick but Emelianenko moves his leg out of the way.
Emelianenko keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Parts scores with a jab. Emelianenko acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Parts throws a left and a right that both miss
and Parts takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Emelianenko missing with a left hand there. Parts was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Donk. Parts catches Emelianenko right on the button with a cross.
Emelianenko lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Emelianenko throws a looping overhand right but Parts ducks down to avoid it.
Parts wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Emelianenko looks gassed!
Parts throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Parts connects with an inside leg kick.
Parts scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Parts feints and then cracks Emelianenko's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Emelianenko down.
Emelianenko takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Peter Parts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Emelianenko crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Parts - the referee stops the clock and Emelianenko gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Parts. Emelianenko manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Parts lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Emelianenko takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Emelianenko on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Emelianenko on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Parts. Parts obviously looking to wear him down.
Parts lands a nice leg kick that just misses Emelianenko's sensitive parts.
Parts throws a front kick that sends Emelianenko stumbling back into the cage.
Parts dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Parts misses with a double jab.
Parts cracks the inside of Emelianenko's front leg.

Parts punishes Emelianenko's body with a nice straight punch.
Emelianenko drops his hands momentarily and Parts takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Parts takes a swing at Emelianenko's ribcage but misses.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Parts! Emelianenko is backing up but he can't get away as Parts lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Emelianenko and ends the fight. Great knockout.

Peter Parts decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
