Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikael Eriksson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Tyson Jr Ii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eriksson comes to the cage accompanied by Nonpoint - In the Air Tonight. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eriksson fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Eriksson shoots in looking for a takedown but Tyson Jr Ii manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Eriksson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Tyson Jr Ii comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Eriksson fails to land the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mikael Eriksson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tyson Jr Ii scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Mikael Eriksson has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tyson Jr Ii wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Eriksson is breathing heavily.
Eriksson misses with a takedown
and Tyson Jr Ii counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Tyson Jr Ii goes for a small jab and connects. Now Tyson Jr Ii goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Eriksson stumbles back but Tyson Jr Ii runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Eriksson to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Eriksson will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Michael Tyson Jr Ii!
