Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fritz Bennett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adilbek Tumenbayev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bennett kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is W.A.S.P - Torture never stops. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tumenbayev tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bennett sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tumenbayev somewhat.
Bennett bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Tumenbayev has eaten all the pies!

Bennett looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Tumenbayev with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Bennett is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Tumenbayev is just riding it out for now. Bennett eventually gives up the hold.

A big strike lands for Bennett! That's really hurt Tumenbayev and he's turned his back - Bennett keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Bennett jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

A determined Fritz Bennett didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
