Heaney takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Krutcher tries a head kick but it misses.
Jason Krutcher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fighters circling - Krutcher throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Krutcher throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Krutcher throws a front kick that sends Heaney stumbling back into the cage.
Heaney looks to score with a jab to the body but Krutcher is just out of range.
Krutcher throws a series of punches but Heaney avoids them all with ease.
Krutcher scores with a jab. Heaney acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

It looks like Seamus Heaney has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Krutcher lands with a nice combination. Heaney backs away looking to recover.

Krutcher tries to keep at a distance but Heaney has taken the fight into the clinch.

Krutcher dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Heaney. That did some damage!
Both fighters circling a little - Krutcher finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Krutcher throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Heaney on the side of the head.

Krutcher rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Heaney moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Krutcher throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Heaney.
Krutcher misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Krutcher.
Good leg kick by Krutcher there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
A solid leg kick lands there for Krutcher.
Krutcher will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Krutcher throws out a powerful jab.

The cut above Seamus Heaney's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Krutcher feints with a jab and clips Heaney right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Heaney is sent crashing into the canvas and Krutcher leaps in for the kill! Heaney tries to get to his feet but Krutcher is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Heaney is in need of a savior and steps in!
