Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Willy Nilly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vince Westhaven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Willy Nilly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vince Westhaven!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Westhaven keeps the fight on the outside.

Westhaven feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Westhaven seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Westhaven won't allow Nilly to sweep him here.

Nilly looking for a guillotine here but Westhaven defends easily.
Nilly thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Westhaven wants to pass the guard but Nilly is keeping the position.
Westhaven is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
It looks like Westhaven might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Vince Westhaven wasn't active enough on the ground.
Nilly tries to clinch up but Westhaven circles away and keeps his distance.
Nilly looks to score with a jab to the body but Westhaven is just out of range.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Westhaven crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Nilly - the referee stops the clock and Westhaven gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Nilly. Westhaven manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Willy Nilly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Westhaven will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Nilly is looking to clinch but Westhaven is avoiding it.
Willy Nilly is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Nilly tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Westhaven manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Nilly darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

It looks like Vince Westhaven has been cut.
Westhaven keeps the fight on the outside.
Nilly fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Westhaven.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Westhaven shoots in but no luck this time.
Nilly lunges at Westhaven with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Westhaven's hand.
Nilly slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Nilly throws a nice inside leg kick.
Westhaven looks gassed!

Nilly closes the distance and clinches.
Westhaven jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Nilly walks away with a smile on his face. Westhaven gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Willy Nilly has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vince Westhaven.

A short right hand to the side of the head by Nilly.
Nilly lands a right hand.
Nice body punch from Nilly - that landed with a thud.

Nilly lands an elbow that stopped Westhaven in his tracks for a moment.

The cut above Vince Westhaven's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Nilly lands a good knee to the midsection. Westhaven won't want to take too many of those.
Nilly works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Nilly throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Westhavens head.

Nilly lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Vince Westhaven's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The fight stays on the outside here - Nilly looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Nilly throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Westhaven stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Westhaven tries to pull guard but Nilly holds him up against the cage and eventually Westhaven drops back down to his feet.
Nilly is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Westhaven can do to turn this around?
