The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mann connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Darling's hands.
Mann stalks Darling and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Darling's face. Darling staggers backwards, shaken.
Mann throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Darling ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Mann pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Darling slips a jab and a cross from Mann.
Darling is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Darling scores with a jab to the body.
Darling fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mann manages to avoid it.
Mann takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Mann gets cracked there but stands up to it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mann throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Darling.
Darling throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Darling swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Darling throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Mann stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

It looks like Tommy Mann has been cut.
Mann throws a left and a right that both miss
and Darling counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Mann throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Darling just misses with a punch to the body.
Darling is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mann.

and Darling counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Mann thinking.
Darling moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

and Darling counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
The fighters circle momentarily. Darling darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Mann throws a right hand that Darling ducks under and follows up with a left that Darling also avoids with ease.
Darling connects with a crisp jab.

Mann is rocked!
Darling cracks Mann on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Mann falls backwards against the cage. Darling follows up with more strikes that drop Mann to his knees. Darling keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Mann! This one is all over!
