Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Trinckelton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Green!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 1, fighting out of London, Tony Trinckelton!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Paul Tew and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Green lands with a cross.
Green tries to bum rush Trinckelton with a series of wild strikes but Trinckelton uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Some wild striking there from Green.
Trinckelton misses with a few strikes there.
Green lands with a cross.
Trinckelton misses with a series of wild punches.
Green misses with an uppercut
and Trinckelton counters with a series of strikes. Green will be more careful next time no doubt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Green swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Trinckelton counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Green's guard now.
Green is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Trinckelton accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Trinckelton is working Green over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Green bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Trinckelton's guard.
Green working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Trinckelton's head.
Green stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Trinckelton swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Trinckelton lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Green!

Trinckelton can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Green is looking to escape.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Green is bucking up trying to escape but Trinckelton cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Trinckelton takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
BOOM! Trinckelton connects with a massive shot to the dome!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Trinckelton looking for a guillotine from mount but Green is having none of it.
Oh Green is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Trinckelton prevents Green from getting the reversal.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Trinckelton shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Green is trying to defend but Trinckelton finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Green seems to have got his legs back now.

Trinckelton throws a strike but Green rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

That's time! Green's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!


Trinckelton takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Green's corner calls for a 1-2. Green obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Trinckelton drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Green manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Trinckelton has Green in his guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mike Green.
I think Green has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
