Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rocket Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Morrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rocket Man has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Morrison shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Man napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Morrison decides to stand back up.

Man darts in and clinches Morrison up against the ropes.
Morrison lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

Morrison wants the takedown. Man is fighting it off but Morrison persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Man's guard against the ropes.

Morrison thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Morrison wants to control from the top but Man keeps moving.

Man has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Morrison is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Man.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Morrison goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Man has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Morrison but great work by Man.
Man wants to control but Morrison is keeping him busy.

Morrison has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Man can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
