The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Paul Tew and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paliwoda keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Jones looks for a takedown but Paliwoda sprawls well.
Paliwoda tries for a takedown but Jones circles away easily

so Jones counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Jones wants to control from the top but Paliwoda keeps moving.

Paliwoda escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jones gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Jones won't allow Paliwoda to sweep him here.

Jones has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Jones in particular looking to stall.
Let's hope that Jones has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
