Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Silvas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Skins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tony Skins told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silvas wants to clinch

and Skins counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Skins trying to control the pace.
Skins's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Let's hope that Skins has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Skins is working for a submission of some sort.

Silvas gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
