The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Porunov ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Van Wissil throws a lazy right hand but Porunov sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Van Wissil connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Porunov tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Van Wissil manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Van Wissil paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Porunov gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Van Wissil to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Porunov not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Porunov is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Van Wissil must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Porunov has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
