Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brah At Hammed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peyton Hillis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brah At Hammed is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brah At Hammed!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Peyton Hillis!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hillis misses with a low kick as At Hammed jumps back.
Hillis wants to land a leg kick but At Hammed is out of range.
At Hammed throws a sloppy head kick
and Hillis counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
At Hammed throws a sloppy head kick and Hillis moves out of range easily.
At Hammed scoring well with a low kick there.
This has been an exciting period of action!
At Hammed shoots in but no luck this time.

Hillis closes the distance and clinches.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
At Hammed trying to land knees to the body.
Hillis blocks a punch to the side of the head.
At Hammed jumps guard but Hillis turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Hillis gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
At Hammed is looking for a sweep. Hillis is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

At Hammed tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Hillis has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
At Hammed is trying desperately to improve position.
At Hammed tries to hold on but Hillis postures up.

At Hammed is desperately trying to improve his position but Hillis has a good base and remains in mount.

Hillis is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
At Hammed shoots for a double leg takedown but Hillis sprawls well. He's pushed At Hammed's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brah At Hammed. That's going to take a lot out of him.
At Hammed misses the shot to the body.
Hillis throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hillis scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Hillis pulls guard effortlessly.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
At Hammed pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hillis is keeping the position for now.

At Hammed trying to control the position from guard on top but Hillis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hillis can do anything to dispel that myth.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
At Hammed prevents Hillis from getting back to his feet.

Hillis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with At Hammed. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

We're going to have a standup here because Brah At Hammed wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Hillis moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
At Hammed pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Brah At Hammed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
At Hammed with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hillis to score with a decent uppercut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

At Hammed tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Hillis avoids it.

Hillis is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. At Hammed can't fight it off and eventually Hillis manages to take the fight to the floor. At Hammed looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
At Hammed is trying to control the position from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Peyton Hillis dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


A swing and a miss from Hillis.
At Hammed blocks a low kick nicely.
At Hammed tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Hillis manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Hillis counters with a nice uppercut.
Hillis throws a body punch but At Hammed moves out of range.
Hillis lands a head shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hillis. At Hammed does a little dance to reset his feet.

It looks like Peyton Hillis has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hillis avoids the head kick by At Hammed.
At Hammed scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Hillis is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Hillis lands with a good body shot.

At Hammed buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Hillis is breathing heavily.
Hillis goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Hillis circles away from the clinch attempt.

At Hammed manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hillis on his heels. He'll look to pass Hillis's guard now, I'm sure.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
At Hammed advances position into side control!

At Hammed is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hillis has escaped the position, nice work there.

At Hammed tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

At Hammed goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Hillis has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for At Hammed but great work by Hillis.
At Hammed wants to control but Hillis postures up.
At Hammed manages to work his way to half guard, despite Hillis's best efforts.
At Hammed slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
At Hammed is pulling down on Hillis's head to control his posture.

At Hammed looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hillis is one step ahead there.
At Hammed is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
At Hammed bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hillis's guard.
At Hammed wants to pass the guard but Hillis is keeping the position.
Hillis keeping moving, preventing At Hammed from controlling successfully.

At Hammed might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
At Hammed won't allow Hillis to get back to his feet.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!



At Hammed drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

At Hammed drops back, looking for a kneebar! Hillis looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Hillis looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Hillis!
Hillis wants to stand but At Hammed has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard.
Hillis has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of At Hammed is proving hard to escape from.

At Hammed looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Hillis got a little sloppy there for a moment and At Hammed has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hillis has managed to get both his arms back between At Hammed's legs - danger averted.
At Hammed pulls Hillis in to control the position.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Brah At Hammed just wasn't active enough.
At Hammed dodges the punch combination from Hillis.
At Hammed doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Hillis counters with a stiff right hand.


It looks like Brah At Hammed has been cut.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from At Hammed.
At Hammed tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Brah At Hammed.
I think At Hammed has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Brah At Hammed was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
