The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foster throws a jab when Hanson was well out of range.
Hanson lands with a nice combination. Foster backs away looking to recover.

Hanson throws a leg kick which misses Foster's front leg but catches the back leg as Foster tries to avoid it.

Hanson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Foster sprawls well initially but Hanson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Foster is in a horrible position here. Hanson smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Hanson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hanson postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Foster bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Hanson and the fight is over!
