The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Naji looks to score with a jab to the body but Chankya is just out of range.
Chankya tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Naji counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Chankya wants to get back to his feet but Naji is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Naji wants to control from the top but Chankya keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

and Naji counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Naji wants to free his trapped foot but Chankya is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Chankya really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Naji. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
