PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Waltteri Lahti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Osi Tuck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Waltteri Lahti!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 1, fighting out of New York, Osi Tuck!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Left hook, right uppercut from Lahti.

It looks like Osi Tuck has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lahti misses the shot to the body.
Lahti tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tuck was well out of range. Poor timing from Lahti.
Lahti lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tuck circles away quickly and effectively.
Tuck fails with a takedown attempt.
Nice body punch from Lahti.
Lahti looks to land a right hand but Tuck moved out of range.
Tuck moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Lahti lands with a right hand.
Tuck takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Tuck looks gassed!
Lahti looks to throw the jab but Tuck is out of range.
Tuck misses with an uppercut.
Tuck connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Lahti's hands.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tuck slips under a jab.
Lahti misses the jab.
Tuck tries to close the distance and clinch but Lahti swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Lahti comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Lahti misses with a wild body shot.
Lahti lands with a shot to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lahti feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Tucks jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

That has opened up Osi Tuck's cut even more.

Lahti sends Tuck crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Lahti is motioning to the referee to let Tuck up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Tuck is rocked!

The cut above Osi Tuck's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
A big right from Lahti misses.
Some wild striking there from Lahti.
Waltteri Lahti is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lahti. Tuck does a little dance to reset his feet.
Lahti changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tuck doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Lahti fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Tuck looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Tuck moves away from the strike by Lahti.
Lahti rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tuck moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Tuck takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Lahti digs a good body shot into Tuck's ribs.
Lahti swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lahti misses with a wild combination.
Lahti is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Lahti ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tuck moves away.
Lahti is looking to wear down Tuck with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Lahti tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tuck was well out of range. Poor timing from Lahti.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Tuck shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lahti pinned against the cage. Lahti gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Lahti throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Tuck on the side of the head.

Osi Tuck's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Osi Tuck's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Waltteri Lahti!
