Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Albert Einstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mattress Lindland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Albert Einstein !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mattress Lindland!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lindland throws a series of punches but Einstein moves out of range.
Einstein tries a head kick but it misses.
Einstein fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Lindland on the side of the head.
Lindland throws a combination that misses
and Einstein counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Einstein scores with a takedown into Lindland's guard.
Einstein stops Lindland from standing up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Einstein accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Lindland avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Einstein has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Einstein won't allow Lindland to get back to his feet.
Einstein connects with a couple of short punches.
Lindland is looking to stand up but Einstein isn't so interested in that idea.
Einstein loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Einstein stops Lindland from standing up.
Lindland is wriggling around but Einstein manages to pass to half guard.

Einstein thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Einstein is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Lindland is refusing to be controlled, as Einstein sits in half guard.
Einstein looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Einstein prevents Lindland from standing back up.

Lindland tries to kick Einstein off but Einstein keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Einstein thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Lindland's head.
Einstein not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Lindland is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Einstein scores with a couple of nice shots.

Einstein looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Lindland makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Einstein lands with a slapping head kick.
Einstein throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lindland takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
A combination from Lindland does no damage.
Lindland cracks Einstein with a right hand to the side of the head.
Lindland on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Einstein . Einstein obviously looking to wear him down.
Einstein cracks Lindland with an open hand slap.
Einstein scores with a sloppy right hand. Lindland should have avoided that one.


Lindland is rocked!
Einstein drops Lindland with a naaaaasty hook - Lindland is in real trouble here! Einstein dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Albert Einstein !
A very excited looking Albert Einstein made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
