The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivers throws a leg kick but Durden sees it coming and moves out of range.
An inside leg kick from Durden misses.
Rivers fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Durden has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Durden swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A slow jab from Durden misses its intended target.
Durden tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Rivers throws a low kick but it's checked well by Durden.
Rivers misses the jab.
Rivers chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Nice shot lands for Durden.
Durden swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

That kick from Rivers tenderised Durden's leg. Durden is trying to keep his angry face on.

Rivers lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Rivers stuffs the takedown.
Durden misses with a looping right.
Rivers scores with a punch to the head.
Durden misses with an uppercut.
Durden fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Rivers is out of range.

Durden ducks under a wild hook from Rivers.

and Rivers counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Rivers tries to clinch up.
Durden looks to throw the jab but Rivers is out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Durden. Rivers does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Rivers makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Durden clinches.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Durden tries to work over Rivers's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Rivers stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Rivers gets through Durden's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Durden tries to throw a body punch but Rivers avoids it by throwing Durden back against the cage.
Rivers lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Durden backwards.
Durden is breathing heavily.
Rivers makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Rivers lands a nice shot to the body.
Rivers lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Durden is rocked!
Rivers throws a big uppercut that drops Durden! More strikes from Rivers and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Durden lies dazed against the cage as Rivers celebrates with his cornermen!
