The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spros pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Spros tries to close the distance and clinch but De Vito swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Spros gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and De Vito counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

De Vito wants to control from the top but Spros keeps moving.

De Vito stands up over Spros, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
De Vito postures up in Spros's guard and throws a big left but Spros blocks it.
