Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Connor OMalley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carver McNulty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McNulty has chosen Still I Rise - Shadows Fall as his entrance music. McNulty has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Carver McNulty!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
OMalley throws a head kick but McNulty moves out of range.
OMalley tries to clinch but McNulty is having none of it.

OMalley throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around McNulty's waist but McNulty gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing OMalley off to one side.

OMalley shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has McNulty pinned against the cage. McNulty gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

McNulty feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

OMalley is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
McNulty content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. McNulty connects with a nice short shot to OMalley's temple.
