Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rudi Loens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trevor Dean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Loens's entrance music is Ring of Fire. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rudi Loens!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Trevor Dean!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Saam Ante and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loens throws a head kick but Dean moves out of range.
Loens closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dean circles away.
Dean closes the distance and clinches up with Loens, looking for a takedown. Dean pushes Loens against the cage but Loens circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Loens misses with a double jab
and Dean counters with a nice kick to the body.
A head kick misses from Loens.
Loens throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
An inside leg kick from Loens misses.

Loens has taken the fight to the clinch.
Dean blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Dean tightens his grip and picks Loens up, before dumping him to the ground. Loens manages to land in guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Loens wants to stand and escape but Dean is having none of it.
Dean slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Loens utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Loens is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Dean wants to control from the top but Loens keeps moving.

and Dean counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Dean fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Loens avoids it really well and circles away.

Dean landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Loens tries to circle away but Dean has him pinned against the cage.
Loens tries to land a knee to the head but Dean blocks with his arms.

Dean has picked Loens up - he's going for a ride! Dean dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

That was a close round but I would say that Rudi Loens will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Rudi Loens.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Loens, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
