Jones's entrance music is Enter Sandman - Metallica. A fine choice. Lazarus Jones could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Chris Connely's chin.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Connely throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Lazarus Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Connely counters with an outside leg kick.
A big right from Jones misses.
Jones uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Connely.
Connely tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jones was well out of range. Poor timing from Connely.
Connely tries a head kick but it misses.
Jones throws a leg kick
and Connely counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Connely sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Connely fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Jones checks it well.
Jones needs to keep his hands up - Connely had a free shot at his head there.

Jones scores with a jab to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jones jabs Connely to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Connely looks gassed!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Jones.

Connely tries to move into range but Jones moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

It looks like Chris Connely has been cut.
Jones throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Jones chopping away at his opponent's legs.
A decent looking cross lands there for Jones.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jones lands with a shot to the body.
Connely walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Jones drops Connely with a big left hand! Connely is injured, injured bad! Jones jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
