Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sonny Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julius Cesar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Sonny Silva has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Sonny Silva seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Cesar tries for a takedown but Silva sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Cesar tries to bum rush Silva with a series of wild strikes but Silva uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Silva darts in and clinches Cesar up against the cage.
Silva is looking to control Cesar's arms but Cesar gets an underhook and turns him. Now Silva has his back to the cage.
Silva is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Cesar is defending well for now.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Silva here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
