Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gunner Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thunder Lips (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hansen comes into the arena with The Prodigy - Breathe blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Glass and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hansen tries to clinch but Lips is having none of it.
Lips shoots in looking for a takedown. Hansen tries to sprawl out of it but Lips keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hansen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Hansen changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lips looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Hansen advances nicely into full mount.
Lips is working to get back to half guard.
Lips sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Lips postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hansen is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Lips, into his guard.

Hansen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lips has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hansen has managed to get both his arms back between Lips's legs - danger averted.
