Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dom Nate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Bot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rob Bot is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dom Nate!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rob Bot!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Daniel Blasius and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nate tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bot swivels and escapes.
Nate uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bot.
Bot fails to land the takedown.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Bot slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Nate is fighting to break Bot's control of his arms but Bot is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bot is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Bot looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Bot is keen to just control but Nate is a slippery customer.
Nate on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Nate tries to get out of the position.

Bot wants to pass the guard but Nate is defending well.

Nate avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bot.
Bot is looking to take a break and control but Nate is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Bot in particular looking to stall.
Bot throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Nate is letting Bot control him for a moment.
Bot misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
The ground and pound from Bot seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Bot tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Nate is breathing heavily.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bot trying to control the action but Nate is working from the bottom.
Bot landing a few strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rob Bot dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

and Nate takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Nate slips under a jab from Bot.
Bot connects with a good right hand that stumbles Nate. Nate circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Bot takes a swing at Nate's ribcage but misses.
Bot shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Nate as he jumps to the side.
Nate tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bot was well out of range. Poor timing from Nate.
Bot misses with an uppercut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bot blocks a head kick by Nate.
Bot scores with a decent looking hook.

Nate moves into the clinch.
Nate throws an elbow but it misses.
Nate tries a knee to the head but Bot blocks it.

It looks like Rob Bot has been cut.
Bot drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Nate's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Bot shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Bot has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nate keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Bot scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Bot sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Nate defending well though.
Bot missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Nate on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bot throwing shots but Nate is blocking nicely.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Bot looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Bot uses his free foot to push down on Nate's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Nate.
Bot fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Nate is squirming around, avoiding Bot's attempts to control the action.
Bot breaks from Nate's wrist control and lands an elbow.


Nate is rocked!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bot connects with a bit shot that sees Nate covering up! More strikes from Bot and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Bot is our winner by TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rob Bot!
A relieved looking Rob Bot thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
