Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergio Aniouz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Fennessy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fennessy has chosen Drowning Pool - Bodies as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fennessy gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Aniouz looking to sit in guard and control but Fennessy gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Aniouz has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fennessy can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Aniouz is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Aniouz had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Fennessy is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Aniouz Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Fennessy's back instead.
Fennessy rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Fennessy wants to get back to his feet.
Fennessy wants to sweep but Aniouz has passed to side control!

Aniouz wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Fennessy, who protects the arm well.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Fennessy takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Fennessy tries to buck Aniouz off but Aniouz is having none of it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Aniouz is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Fennessy is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Aniouz is breathing heavily.
Fennessy is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Aniouz asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Fennessy manages to work his way to half guard, despite Aniouz's best efforts.
