Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zhenya Morozov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sanya Mamonov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanya Mamonov will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Ivan Kurochkin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mamonov fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

It looks like Zhenya Morozov has been cut.
Morozov misses with a takedown attempt - Mamonov sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Mamonov tries a head kick but it misses.
Morozov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mamonov's waist but Mamonov gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Morozov off to one side.
Morozov looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zhenya Morozov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Morozov tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mamonov sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Morozov somewhat.
Mamonov tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Morozov really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Morozov shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Mamonov is trying to defend but Morozov finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Mamonov escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Morozov gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Mamonov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Morozov doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Morozov manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Mamonov is trying to control the position but Morozov postures up.
Morozov will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Mamonov has his foot on Morozov's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Morozov works his way back into a safe position though.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Morozov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mamonov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Morozov has managed to get both his arms back between Mamonov's legs - danger averted.

Mamonov is looking for a triangle here but Morozov uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Morozov uses his free foot to push down on Mamonov's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Mamonov.

Mamonov is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Morozov defends well.

Mamonov is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Morozov rolls with it to try and escape but Mamonov cranks on the arm and Morozov is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
