Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

16 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rap Reiplinger!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Illya Tyunina and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reiplinger feints a jab promting Madsen to slip. Reiplinger then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Madsen slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
It looks like Gunnar Madsen has been cut.
Reiplinger lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Reiplinger slips a straight right by Madsen.
Nice cross by Madsen.
It looks like Rap Reiplinger has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Reiplinger displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Madsen throws out the jab.
Reiplinger thumps Madsen with a low kick.
An inside leg kick lands from Reiplinger.
Madsen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Reiplinger moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Reiplinger's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Madsen connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Reiplinger scrambles back to his feet.
Madsen fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Reiplinger lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Madsen circles away quickly and effectively.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Madsen with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Madsen moves into range and connects with a jab.
Madsen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Reiplinger tries to bum rush Madsen with a series of wild strikes but Madsen uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Reiplinger fails with an attempt to clinch.
Madsen feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Reiplinger sprawling to the canvas! Reiplinger rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Madsen finish him?!
That has opened up Rap Reiplinger's cut even more.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Madsen blocks a leg kick.
Madsen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Reiplinger was well out of range. Poor timing from Madsen.
Reiplinger lands a high kick!
Reiplinger thumps Madsen with a low kick.
Madsen's jab looks to have found its range, popping Reiplinger under the eye.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Reiplinger keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Madsen.
Madsen lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Reiplinger is looking to close the distance but Madsen sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Reiplinger crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Reiplinger is OK because that was naaaaaasty!

A relieved looking Gunnar Madsen thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
