These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jacksson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Gracie feints a jab promting Jacksson to slip. Gracie then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Jacksson slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

It looks like Arnold Jacksson has been cut.

Jacksson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Gracie manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
