Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Angelo Zed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack McLumberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McLumberg has chosen AC/DC - Thunderstruck as his entrance music. Angelo Zed could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jack McLumberg's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McLumberg throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Zed throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

McLumberg throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Zed postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

McLumberg wants to slow Zed down by chopping away at his legs.
A punch lands to the side of McLumberg 's head but he takes it in his stride.
McLumberg uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Zed.
McLumberg throws out a powerful jab.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Zed avoids the head kick by McLumberg.
McLumberg takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Zed lands a glancing blow to the side of McLumberg's head.
Zed moves out of range as McLumberg throws a body kick.

McLumberg forces Zed back against the cage and clinches.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Zed's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
McLumberg throws a wild body kick that Zed sees coming a mile off.
McLumberg feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Zed's calf.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Angelo Zed will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

McLumberg is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Zed.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from McLumberg in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

McLumberg stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Zed swivels though and keeps the full guard.

McLumberg postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Zed is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of McLumberg, into his guard.
