Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jean Charles Skarbowsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Klaus Krause (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Krause has chosen How Much Is The Fish as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jean Charles Skarbowsky had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skarbowsky fails with an attempt to clinch.
Krause loads up on a big right hand but Skarbowsky slips the punch.

Skarbowsky moves into range and clinches up with Krause.

Krause throws a punch but it's blocked by Skarbowsky.

Skarbowsky breaks from the clinch.
Krause fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Skarbowsky tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Skarbowsky, right into the meat.
Krause stuns Skarbowsky with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Krause tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Krause tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Skarbowsky's elbow.

Krause tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Skarbowsky just stands there and leans against the cage.

Krause tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Skarbowsky paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Skarbowsky uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Krause.

Skarbowsky has taken the fight to the clinch.

Krause gets control of Skarbowsky's arms and successfully pulls guard. Krause will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Skarbowsky slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Krause wants to sweep here but Skarbowsky controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Krause controls Skarbowsky momentarily but Skarbowsky frees himself.
Skarbowsky stays in close to Krause's body and controls the position.

Krause bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Skarbowsky's guard.

Krause drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Krause jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

A solid leg kick lands there for Skarbowsky.
Skarbowsky shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Krause eats them both and turns towards Skarbowsky to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

and Krause counters with a single leg into guard. Skarbowsky didn't expect that.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Skarbowsky lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.


The cut above Klaus Krause's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Krause sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Skarbowsky throws a combination. Krause tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Klaus Krause's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
