The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arbiter lands a leg kick that knocks Pasanen off balance momentarily.

and Arbiter counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Arbiter throws a low kick but it's checked well by Pasanen.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Pasanen moves forwards but Arbiter connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Pasanen throws a chopping leg kick but Arbiter manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Pasanen shoots in looking for a takedown. Arbiter tries to sprawl out of it but Pasanen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Arbiter manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Arbiter crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Pasanen - the referee stops the clock and Arbiter gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Pasanen. Arbiter manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Silent Arbiter is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Arbiter is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Pasanen.

Arbiter throws a solid leg kick but Pasanen takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Arbiter.

Pasanen throws an elbow that misses. Arbiter uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Pasanen's guard. Nice move by Arbiter!

Pasanen throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Pasanen throws an overhand right that lands on Arbiter's shoulder, as Arbiter tries to avoid the shot.
Arbiter throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Pasanen on the side of the head.

That was a close second round but I would say that Lauri Pasanen will probably get the nod.
