Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ba Lil III (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Freddy Stinger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Freddy Stinger has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lil III tries a head kick but it misses.
Stinger avoids a kick to the body.
Lil III wants to land a leg kick but Stinger is out of range.
Ba Lil III seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stinger shoots in but Lil III avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Lil III closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Stinger did well to prevent Lil III getting side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lil III is looking to stall here but Stinger recovers full guard.

Lil III stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stinger swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Lil III is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Stinger is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Stinger has escaped and now he's on top!
Lil III wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lil III escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Stinger gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Stinger throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lil III works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Stinger is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Stinger drops back, looking for a kneebar! Lil III looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Lil III looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Lil III!
Lil III passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Stinger!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Stinger is looking to improve his position but Lil III isn't that keen on the idea.

Stinger is bucking up trying to escape but Lil III cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
