Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Adam Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and dylan john (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
john keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Nelson looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
john looking for a sweep. Not yet john, not yet.
john is trying to keep Nelson in close.
Nelson wants to control from the top but john keeps moving.
Nelson is pushing down on john's leg trying to pass to half guard. john is fighting to maintain full guard but Nelson has managed to sneak the leg through.

Nelson wants to work for an arm triangle but john is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
john is looking for a sweep. Nelson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

john wants to control but Nelson is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Nelson prevents john from getting the reversal.

Nelson swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and john is now in Nelson's guard. A big mistake from Nelson there, giving up the dominant position!

Nelson controls john momentarily but john frees himself.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
john is pushing down on Nelson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Nelson is fighting to maintain full guard but john has managed to sneak the leg through.
john looks gassed!
john wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Nelson uses the opportunity to regain full guard.
Nelson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Nelson looking to hit a scissor sweep but john is one step ahead there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nelson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. john manages to get himself to full guard.
Nelson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Nelson is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Nelson wants to take a breather but john is having none of it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
john throws a head kick that Nelson semi-blocks.

john shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
john wants to control the pace but Nelson is squirming around nicely.

john goes for an armbar but Nelson turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Nelson.
john doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
john is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
john is trying to keep Nelson in close.
john is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Adam Nelson will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Nelson takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
john has his takedown stuffed

and Nelson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Nelson stands and throws john's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Nelson has an Americana. john didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Nelson is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Nelson hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
