Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mark Robbins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kalema Kirunda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kirunda has chosen The Hellacopters - In The Sign of Octopus as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robbins tries to clinch but Kirunda moves out of range.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kirunda lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Robbins has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Robbins and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Robbins shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Kirunda lands with a nice body punch.
Kirunda buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Kirunda misses with a body shot.
Kirunda just misses with a punch to the body.
Kirunda lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Robbins tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kirunda paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Kirunda throws a nice looking combination but Robbins bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Kirunda lands a left and a right that send Robbins crashing to the mat, dazed. Kirunda thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Robbins is rocked!

It looks like Mark Robbins has been cut.

Kirunda pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Oh Robbins is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kalema Kirunda seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Robbins scores with a jab to the body.
Kirunda feints and then cracks Robbins's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Robbins down.

Robbins is breathing heavily.
Robbins tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kirunda swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kirunda punishes Robbins's body with a nice straight punch.
Robbins chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kirunda can pounce on him.
Kirunda steps in with a hook that catches Robbins right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Kirunda follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Robbins looks absolutely devastated.
