Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Esko Morko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ming Xin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Morko might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Sound Of Thunder. Xin has chosen Jiào tiānxià 教天下 as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

26 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ming Xin!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xin has a takedown stuffed.
Xin checks a low kick from Morko.
Xin swings for the body but Morko moves out of range.
Xin looks to land a right hand but Morko moved out of range.

Xin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Xin closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Ming Xin was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Xin shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Morko napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Xin wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Morko, who protects the arm well.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Morko knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Xin on the ground.

Morko parries the strikes from Xin easily there. Xin is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Morko to escape.
Xin postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Xin is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Morko is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's time! Morko's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Xin takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Xin throws a lazy head kick
and Morko counters with a low kick, right behind Xin 's knee.
Morko sizes up Xin with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Xin misses with a kick to the body
and Morko makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
A nice leg kick lands there from Xin.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Morko - that will leave a mark!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Xin throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Xin ducks under a wild hook from Morko.
Morko does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Morko wants to land a leg kick but Xin is out of range.
Xin uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Morko.

Morko connects with a single shot there.
Xin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Morko tries to avoid it but Xin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Morko to the ground. Morko escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Xin pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Xin tries to move into range but Morko moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Xin shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Morko pinned against the cage. Morko gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Esko Morko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ming Xin.
Morko uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Xin.
Xin bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Morko tries a head kick but it misses.
Xin lands with a good body shot.
Good work by Xin as he checks the leg kick.
Morko connects with a solid leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Xin cracks a nice hook into Morko's ribs.
Morko tries to close the distance and clinch up but Xin swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Xin finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Xin throws a hook but Morko avoids it easily.
A punch combination from Xin misses.
Xin cracks the inside of Morko's front leg.
Xin scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Xin swings for the body but Morko moves out of range.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That was a close second round but I would say that Esko Morko will probably get the nod.

and Xin counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Morko!

Xin is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Xin!
