Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Stark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Griffin comes into a darkened arena with his song building. A Song kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Daniel Stark has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stark shoots in but Griffin avoids the takedown attempt easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Stark.
Griffin throws a head kick but Stark moves out of range.
Griffin throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Griffin lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

It looks like Daniel Stark has been cut.

Griffin closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Griffin lands in his opponent's guard.

Stark is rocked!
Griffin stands and throws Stark's legs to the side, diving into side control.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Griffin tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Stark.
Griffin is looking to advance position but Stark won't allow it.

Griffin thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Griffin gets to his feet. Stark looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Stark misses with a takedown

and Griffin counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Griffin seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Stark does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Oh but Stark is tightening it up a little... Griffin has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Griffin reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Griffin taps out! nice BJJ there by Stark!
