Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Badong Vargas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slash Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Badong Vargas has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Vargas manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Vargas shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Aldo pinned against the cage. Aldo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Vargas tries to land a leg kick but Aldo saw it coming and moves away.

Vargas fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Aldo, pushing him back against the cage.
Aldo throws a knee to the head but misses.
Aldo gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Vargas.

It looks like Badong Vargas has been cut.
Vargas wants to get back to striking at distance but Aldo won't allow it.
Aldo prevents Vargas from breaking the clinch.

Aldo takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Vargas scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Aldo to see if he's OK.
Aldo is looking for a sweep.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Aldo is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Vargas is controlling him well.
Vargas lands a decent elbow from side control.
Aldo is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Vargas asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Aldo looks gassed!

Vargas stands up and we're back to a striking position.

and Vargas counters with a nice uppercut.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Vargas lands with a right and another and another! Aldo is in big trouble! Vargas lands again and this time it's lights out for Aldo! A quality knockout there for Vargas.
