Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Big (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quinton Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Kevin Big!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Quinton Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Ackerman and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Big throws a head kick but Jackson moves out of range.

Big feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Jackson is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Big trying to control the position from guard on top but Jackson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Big is really struggling to control Jackson but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Jackson is adopting a defensive guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Kevin Big just wasn't active enough.
Big goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Jackson tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Jackson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Big is one step ahead there.

Big is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Big tries to roll over but Jackson keeps him under control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Jackson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Big manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Big is trying to control the position but Jackson postures up.
Jackson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Big looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Big is pulling down on Jackson's head. It's preventing any offense from Jackson, at least for the moment.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Big postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jackson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Big, into his guard.

Jackson wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Jackson is pressed up against the cage. Big has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Jackson down to the mat. Jackson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
You can see the frustration on Big's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Quinton Jackson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Big tries to close the distance and clinch but Jackson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Big gets caught flat footed, as Jackson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Big lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Jackson!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jackson is squirming around, avoiding Big's attempts to control the action.
Jackson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Big. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Big fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Big is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Jackson can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Big cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Jackson is trying to escape the mount.
Big has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Big has hold of Jackson's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Jackson manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Big wants to control the pace but Jackson is squirming around nicely.

Big landing strikes from the mount and Jackson is in trouble!
Big is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Big lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Big lands a big shot there that rocks Jackson but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Jackson wants to hold on but Big pushes him away.
Jackson is working to get back to half guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Kevin Big showed his dominance in that final round.

Kevin Big spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
