Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Slick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cody Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Diaz shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jackson's guard.
Jackson looks gassed!
Diaz wants to pass the guard but Jackson is keeping the position.
Jackson wants to stand but Diaz is controlling the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Diaz decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Horrible takedown by Diaz or perhaps it was just good defense by Jackson which made him look bad.
Jackson misses with a wild combination.
Jackson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Diaz tries to clinch but Jackson is having none of it.

Diaz wants to stand up but Jackson has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Diaz is working to isolate an arm here. It's a choreographed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Diaz extends the arm and Jackson is forced to tap!
