The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivanov is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
It looks like Leandro Rodrigues has been cut.
Ivanov throws a one two combo.
Rodrigues swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Ivanov rushes Rodrigues with punches - Rodrigues moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Rodrigues goes down! Ivanov follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sergei Ivanov!
A determined Sergei Ivanov didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
