Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Chiappe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Opary zOdbytu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Opary zOdbytu will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chiappe closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into zOdbytu's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
zOdbytu is trying to control the position but Chiappe postures up.
Chiappe is stalling in the full guard.
zOdbytu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chiappe. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Chiappe manages to get an easy takedown there - catching zOdbytu on his heels. He'll look to pass zOdbytu's guard now, I'm sure.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

We're going to have a standup here because Ryan Chiappe wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Chiappe tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but zOdbytu swivels and escapes.

Chiappe closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Chiappe lands in his opponent's guard.

Chiappe is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Chiappe has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Chiappe lands a big shot there that rocks zOdbytu but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

The referee warns zOdbytu that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

zOdbytu defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Chiappe.
Chiappe is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. zOdbytu can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Chiappe lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Chiappe takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Chiappe unloads with some vicious shots from mount and zOdbytu wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Chiappe celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
