Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chai Chei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kratos Sparta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chei shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Sparta is trying to stand up here but Chei is controlling him well.

The fight stays on the outside here - Chei looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Chei closes this distance looking for a takedown but Sparta circles away.

Chei turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Chei manages to end up in side control.
Chei could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Sparta wants to get back to his feet but Chei drags him back down.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Chei knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sparta on the ground.
Sparta takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Sparta lands a nice looking kick to the body. Chei takes a step back to recover.

Kratos Sparta has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Chai Chei.
