Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ignacio Del Calvanella (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frederic Robitaille (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Del Calvanella might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to A. Chelentano - Ma Perke. Frederic Robitaille will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robitaille scores with the left hand. Del Calvanella knows he should have avoided that one.
Robitaille misses with a wild body shot.

Robitaille forces Del Calvanella back against the cage and clinches.

Robitaille breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Robitaille walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Del Calvanella checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Robitaille tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Del Calvanella paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Sloppy strikes from Robitaille. Those never looked like landing.
Robitaille looks to land a combination but Del Calvanella avoids it well.
Del Calvanella blocks a jab.
Del Calvanella keeps the fight on the outside.
Frederic Robitaille seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Robitaille clinches with his opponent.

Robitaille's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Robitaille does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Robitaille changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Del Calvanella looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Del Calvanella throws Robitaille to one side and escapes!
Robitaille misses with a jab, cross combination.
Robitaille doesn't manage to clinch there - Del Calvanella circles away.

Robitaille darts in and clinches Del Calvanella up against the cage.

Del Calvanella shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Robitaille napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Robitaille is not content to let Del Calvanella control the position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Robitaille tries to bench press Del Calvanella off him but Del Calvanella keeps the position.
Del Calvanella works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Del Calvanella fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Del Calvanella has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Robitaille looks gassed!

Del Calvanella is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Robitaille is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Robitaille flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Del Calvanella anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Robitaille and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Del Calvanella slips an arm under Robitaille chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Del Calvanella has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Del Calvanella is squeezing on Robitaille like an anaconda would it's prey. Robitaille fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
