The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevens moves forwards but Diao connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Good standup being displayed there by Diao as he connects with a hook.
Diao throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Diao tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Stevens was well out of range. Poor timing from Diao.
Stevens takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Stevens has managed to clinch.
Diao misses with a hook from the clinch.

Stevens tries to land knees in the clinch but Diao avoids the damage to the body.

Diao is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Stevens lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Diao!

Stevens postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Diao in real trouble here! The ref calls for Diao to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
