The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rajamaki will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rajamaki shoots in looking for a takedown but Achilles manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rajamaki's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Achilles closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Rajamaki is working for a submission of some sort.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Achilles accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Rajamaki feints and as Achilles raises his hands in defense, Rajamaki changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Achilles has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Rajamaki has his foot on Achilles's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Achilles works his way back into a safe position though.
Toni Rajamaki is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
